Group Therapy

Group Therapy allows you to discuss things that are deeply important to you with people you can really trust while allowing everyone in the group the chance to share ideas on how to handle similar life struggles. You’ll develop a deep sense of belonging which leads to a feeling of empowerment, all because the right group “gets” you.

Embrace the knowledge that group therapy provides. It helps normalize experiences and thoughts that can be isolating while providing a forum that leads to accelerated personal growth. Practice new skills with other people experiencing similar issues.

Create boundaries

Creating Boundaries with Toxic Family Members

If you’ve tried setting boundaries and rules, but toxic family members aren’t respecting you - it’s time to accept that you don’t need them to respect the rules to claim your power.

This group is for you if your identity no longer aligns with your upbringing or family of origin. It’s also the right group if you’re feeling disconnected and alienated from family because of who you are and what you stand for.

Join 8 weeks with others who have taken the brave steps to live their truth and be their authentic selves.

Sibling loss and grief

Sibling Grief and Loss

Losing a sibling devastating, whether the sibling loss was sudden, or expected. The shock and disbelief is often overwhelming.

Even worse? When your sibling loss grief is minimized or erased. How many times have you heard something like, “your parents must be so sad” from friends or loved ones? It can feel like no one sees your pain in losing a sibling.

This 8 week group is designed to help you work through the surprising range of reactions after the loss of your sibling. It will provide a safe space to talk about your grief with other people that know what it’s like to lose a sibling.

Using alcohol to cope

When Coping Becomes the Problem

During the pandemic, it’s been easier and more acceptable to rely on coping skills that you only used occasionally in the past, but sometimes it’s hard to stop that reliance. A coping skill that becomes damaging, destructive or out of control is important to address, and work through with some help.

This six week group is for you if you’ve been drinking more alcohol; smoking more marijuana than you used to; participating in other ‘addictive outlets’ you may have only dabbled in prior to the pandemic; and, you’re becoming uncomfortable with your addictive reliance.

Pet grief and loss

Pet Grief and Bereavement

Oftentimes people minimize the feelings of sadness and loss that comes with the death of a pet. Whether you feel grief after pet loss in stages such as grief, anger, guilt, depression, or you feel it in a more cyclical way, coming in waves with lots of ups and downs, pet loss grief is real.

This group is designed to provide a safe place to help people who lost their pets, whom they consider a family member. It’s a group for those who want to experience support and encouragement from folks that felt the same love and attachment to their pets that you did.
